WILLIS CASEY

Willis Frederick Casey, 77, of 1636 Old Hinton Road, Princeton, went to his Heavenly Home on Thursday evening, surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 20, 1928, he was the son of the late Mathew McKinley and Lossie Williams Casey. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Janie McGee, a brother, Harvey Casey, and a grandson, Garrett Bjork.

Mr. Casey was a member of the Princeton Baptist Church and Sunday School. Through the years, Mr. Casey had worked with Dillon Supply as an assistant manger and Smith-Courtney Industrial Supply, where he worked in sales. For 22 years, Mr. Casey owned and operated Casey & Son Appliance where his appliance expertise was well known by his customers throughout the area. He loved his church, family and his business.

The funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday at Casey Funeral Home with the Reverend Dwayne Batten and Reverend Don Price officiating. A private committal service will be held Sunday at the Princeton Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lettie (Lou) Wilson Casey; his son, Rodney Willis Casey of Princeton; his three daughters, Wanda Bjork of Goldsboro and Karen C. Evans and Sherri C. Edwards, both of Princeton; and a sister, Peggy Gurley of Smithfield. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Heather Bjork, Emily Evans, Travis Evans, Jennifer Moore, Tanner Bjork, Ruskin Edwards, Seth Edwards and Austin Casey.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 4:30 p.m. Saturday and immediately following the service..
