A homegoing service for James Edward Hamilton, of 616 S. Herman St., will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church. Pastor Joseph M. Williams will officiate. Interment will be in the Hamilton family cemetery.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife, Minnie Hamilton of the home, three daughters, Millie Williams of Baltimore, Md., and Lavonda Kennon and Laquisha Toomer of the home; one brother, Simon Hamilton of Wilson; and three sisters; Aretha Hamilton of Baltimore, Md., Emma Reid of Dudley and Annie Mae Gardner of Goldsboro.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 7 today at Rhodes Funeral Home and the family will be present to receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m.
