Katherine Rita Gross Harris, 81, died Saturday.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with Robert Adcock officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Willow Dale Cemetery.
A native of Leroy, N. Y., Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late Charles and Lucy Reardon Gross. She attended Goldsboro Gospel Chapel Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Harris, formerly of Durham; one son, Dale E. Harris, and his wife, Elizabeth, of Goldsboro; one daughter, Debra Carmichael, and her husband, Dr. Kim Carmichael, of St. Louis, Mo.; her grandchildren, Michael Harris and wife, Donna, and their daughter Rene' and son Robert E., of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Nicholas Harris of Goldsboro; two sisters, Joan E. Harrell of Athens, Tenn., and Irene Saunders of Sun City, Ariz.; and two brothers, Al Gross of Sun City, Ariz., and Charlie Gross of Palo Alto, Calif.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Tuesday night, and other times at the residence of Dale and Elizabeth Harris, 103 Lee St.
