CLAUD POWELL

Claud Hamilton "Turkey" Powell, 80, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A graveside service with full Masonic rites will be held on Friday morning at 11 at the Devotional Gardens in Warsaw.
Mr. Powell was the son of the late J. Alvas Powell Sr. and Elizabeth F. Chambers Powell. He served with the United States Maritime Service during World War II and with the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Warsaw Baptist Church and Warsaw Masonic Lodge #677.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Scott Powell of the home; and one daughter, Sonya Powell Swing, and
her husband, Kendall Scheringer, of Los Lunas, N.M.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Funeral arrangements are with Community Funeral Home in Warsaw.
