MILDRED CRUMPLER

Died July 23, 2006

WILSON -- The funeral for Mildred Hayes Crumpler, 77, of Lucama, will be held today at 1 p.m. at Wilson Memorial Service. The Rev. Rani Woodrow will officiate. Burial will be in Black Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Crumpler died Sunday.

She was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Victoria Lucas Hayes.

Survivors include her husband, Horace "Tommy" Crumpler; daughters, Connie Parrish of Lucama, Lib Ferrell of Wilson and Janet Flowers of Selma; sons, Ronnie Flowers, John Crumpler and Charles Crumpler of Lucama and Tommy Crumpler of Red Oak; sisters, Waldine Hooks of Lucama, Cleo Gorman of Black Creek, Shelby Watson of Stantonsburg and Bobbie Ann Carter of Oklahoma; brother, Bill Hayes of Black Creek; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Another son, Roy Crumpler, preceded her in death.
