The funeral for Thomas Carrol Pitt was held today at 11 in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home. Minister Harry Battle officiated. Burial was in Coley Cemetery in Pikeville.
Mr. Pitt is survived by one son, Torey Newsome of Wilson, and his mother, Audrey Coley of Fremont.
A viewing was held Tuesday from 2 until 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home.
