Benjamin Sebastian "Big Ben" DeLisi, 60, of 2444 S. American St., Philadelphia, Pa, formerly of Chichester, Pa., and Bellmawr, N.J., died Sunday after a long battle with colon cancer.

He worked for most of his life at Maglio Brothers Sausage Company in Philadelphia. He was born and raised in Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Mary Butta DeLisi, and also by a sister, Rose Stefanovich, and a niece, Michelle Stefanovich Lannutti.

His survivors include his brother, Angelo DeLisi of Collingswood, N.J., and his sister, Sara Masi of Philadelphia.; his girlfriend, Denise "Dee" Mason, and her daughter, Karen, of the home; his children, Benjamin DeLisi and wife, Colleen, of Ayden, N.C., Teresa Lewis and husband ,Tommy, of Goldsboro, N.C., and Robert DeLisi and his wife, Jeannie, of Pikeville, N.C. Also, seven grandchildren, Damian and Brian Vance, Jesse Watson, Dakota DeLisi, Marissa, Laila and Mary DeLisi; a very special nephew, Larry Stefanovich; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and lifetime friends.

A Memorial Celebration will be held on Friday, July 21, at Leonetti-O'Leary Funeral Home at 2223 S. Broad St., Philadelphia.
