STEDMAN -- Richard David Crumpler, 62, father of Wendy Weeks of Mount Olive, died Tuesday.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Frank Davis and Dr. Phil Spears will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Crumpler was the owner and operator of Crumpler's Towing Company of Stedman and was a volunteer with the Bethany Fire Department.
In addition to his daughter he is survived by one son, Richie Crumpler; one stepdaughter, Audra Barnett; sisters, Hazel McMillan and Joyce Crump; brother, Earl Crumpler; six grandchildren and one grandchild; and a special friend, Karen Harrell.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m.. at Butler Funeral Home
