KENLY -- William J. "W.J." Boswell, 58, of 14065 NC 42 E., died Monday at Wilson Medical Center.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. The Rev. Jonathan Pearce and the Rev. Donnie Massey will officiate. Burial will be in be in Kenly Cemetery.
Mr. Boswell was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Boswell, and is survived by one daughter, Jan Sullivan of Middlesex; two sons, Dean Hawley and Chad Slate of Wilson; his mother, Martha Batten Pittman of Kenly; two sisters, Wanda Smith of Kenly and Ruby Warren of Four Oaks; four brothers, Ronnie Boswell of Selma, Dwight Boswell of Kenly, Roy Boswell of Smithfield and Tim Boswell of Four Oaks; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home, and other times at Martha B. Pittman's residence at 1021 Creech Road, Kenly.
