KINSTON -- The funeral for Edna Mae Hardison Britt, 84, will be held today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Edwards Funeral Home. The Rev. Glassie Locklear will officiate. Burial will be in Daly's Chapel Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Britt died Friday at Britthaven Nursing Home.
She was employed at Caswell Center for many years.
Her survivors include one son, Lynwood Dail of Mount Olive; one brother, Walter Hardison of LaGrange; one sister, Leona Hill of Garner; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home during the hour prior to the service this afternoon.
