KINSTON -- Robert Odell Williams, 77, brother of Paul Williams of Seven Springs, died Monday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, with the Rev. J.O. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Joe Williams Cemetery.
In addition to his brother, Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Delia K. Williams of the home; three daughters, Sally Hall, Sue Johnson and Norma Williams of Kinston; seven sons, Louis Williams of Grifton, Larry Williams, Melvin Williams, Marvin Williams and Robert Williams Jr. of Kinston, Terris Williams of the home and Larry Williams of Maryland; five sisters, Hattie Griffin, Ernestine Robinson, Bertie Williams and Carolyn Griffin of Kinston, and Gloria Sutton of Garner; another brother, Horace Williams of Dover; and 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be held today from 2 until 8 p.m. at the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.
