LAGRANGE -- The funeral for Benjamin F. Dawson Sr., 67, 506 W. King St., will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Richard Mercer officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Dawson is survived by his wife, Bettie Suggs Dawson of the home; one daughter, Patricia Dawson Brown of Newport News, Va.; two sons, Benjamin F. Dawson Jr. of Blackwood, N.J., and Alexander Bernard Dawson of Kinston; and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 2 until 8 today at LaGrange Funeral Services.
