James Edward Altman, 71, of Pittsfield, Mass., died Sunday.
He was born in Four Oaks to the late Samuel Altman and Nettie Lee Altman.
In addition to his wife, Rena Altman, and their children, he is survived by one brother, Samuel Altman Jr.. of the Best Grove community.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning at 9 at Dwyer Funeral Home in Pittsfield, Mass., and the funeral will follow at 11 in the chapel.
