NEWTON GROVE -- Lewis F. Jackson, 93, of 145 Emmett Thornton Road, Newton Grove, died Friday.
Funeral services were held at Pleasant Union Christian Church on Saturday with the Rev. Doug Dexter officiating.
Burial will be today at 2 p.m. at Thornton Family Cemetery in Newton Grove.
He is survived by daughters, Blondie J. Sutton and Barbara J. Jackson, both of Newton Grove; son, Denis Sherald Jackson of Fuquay-Varina; sister, Mary Lois Giddens of Newton Grove; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
