FOUR OAKS -- Clarence C. Compton, 70, of 482 Richard Smith Road, Four Oaks, died Friday.
Funeral services will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at West and Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Newton Grove with the Rev. Jimmy Skinner officiating.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He is survived by wife, Louise Compton; daughters, Rita Compton of the home, Kathy Thompson and Jo Ann Thompson, both of Newton Grove; stepsons, Clyde Ferguson of Four Oaks and Tommie Ferguson of Joshua, Texas; 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday.
