PRINCETON -- Josephine Wiggins Capps, 56, died Friday evening in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in New Hanover County, she was a daughter of the late Paul Parker and Pernilla Mae Raynor Wiggins and was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Nicole Richards and sister, Dora Mae Martinez.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the cemetery at Baker's Chapel Church with the Rev. Jerry Waters officiating.
Surviving are her husband, Johnny T. "J.T." Capps; sons, Jonathan Michael Ward of Kenly and Ronald Michael Richards of Pilot; daughters, Rebecca Ward of Smithfield and Teresa Lynn Ward of the home; stepson, Johnny Capps of Holly Ridge; stepdaughters, Jennifer Marie Capps of Jacksonville and Cynthia Renee Allen of Four Oaks; brother, George Glenwood Wiggins of Goldsboro; sisters, Judy Carol Crawford of Pikeville and Pauline Capps of Princeton and eleven grandchildren.
Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton is serving the family.
