MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Theartice Kelly, 83, of 1114 S. Church St., will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, with Pastor E.T. Coston officiating. Burial will be in the Gore Family Cemetery.
Mr. Kelly died Monday at SunBridge Nursing Center.
He was the son of the late Charlie and Brookie Nae Kelly.
He is survived by his wife, Daphine Kelly of the home, one son, Reginald McKinney of Mount Olive; four daughters, Carolyn Thurman of Washington, D.C., Deronda Cox and Althea Grantham of Goldsboro and Sgt. 1st Class Dedra Williams of Columbia, S.C.; and seven grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 7 today at Garris Funeral Home.
