Julia Chestnut Robinson, 90, died Thursday at Rosemary Rest Home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday morning at 11 at Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Brian Doles will officiate.

Mrs. Robinson was a native of Sampson County. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Mary Ellen Balkcum Chestnut and the widow of Graham James Robinson Sr. She retired in 1980 as manager of the cafeteria at Rose Hill Magnolia Elementary School.

She is survived by two sons, Graham James "Jimmy" Robinson Jr. and his wife, June, and Mitchell "Mitch" Robinson, and his wife, Bonnie, all of Rose Hill; three grandchildren, Trent Robinson of Greenville, S.C., Jim Robinson of Colfax, N.C., and Kelly Robinson of Wilmington; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Robinson, 112 S. Southerland St., Rose Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church, 129 East Main St., Rose Hill; or to Carolina Rest Home Care and Hospice, P.O. Box 887, Kenansville, N.C., 28349.
