Lillie Bell Gooding Jernigan, 95, of La Grange, died Wednesday at the Brian Center.
The funeral will be held today at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home in LaGrange. The Rev. Wayne Goff will officiate. The committal will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at Cobb Cemetery.
Mrs. Jernigan was the daughter of the late Sim and Annie Tucker Gooding. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elec Conner and Troy Jernigan, and two children, William Carr Conner and Annie Sullivan.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen Sullivan, and her husband, Wayne, of LaGrange; one sister, Lizzie Warters of Snow Hill; one brother, David Gooding of Pikeville; three stepdaughters, Ellen, Peggy and Bernice; and 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service today and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sullivan, 1054 Jason Road, LaGrange.
