TARBORO--William Franklin Jones Jr., 80, of 105 Lazy Lane, Elm City, died Friday at Heritage Hospital in Tarboro.
He was born in Johnston County to the late William Franklin Jones Sr. and Bertha Massey Jones.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton with the Reverend Julian Thompson and the Reverend Ronnie Flood officiating. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery.
He is survived by wife, Lois Sanderford Jones of Elm City; sons, Calvin Jones and wife Yvonne of Rocky Mount, William "Billy" Jones of Nashville, David Jones and wife Dawn of Tarboro, Jimmy Jones and wife Cathy of Nashville; daughter, Mildred Jones Bales of Elm City; sister, Frances Garruba of Raleigh; and 16 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
