MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Dr. Bettie P. March, 70, will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Luther Tally will officiate. Burial will be in the Quinn-McLean Family Cemetery.
A resident of New York, Dr. March died last Saturday at Mt. Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. She was formerly of Duplin County and was the daughter of the late Benjamin Branch and Cummie McLean.
She is survived by one daughter, Felicia March of the Bronx; three sisters, Prozora McLean Dorsett of the Bronx, Dora Hodges of Charlotte and Linda Branch of Virginia; one brother, Phillip McLean of Mount Olive; and one granddaughter.
The viewing will be from 5 until 6:30 this evening at Garris Funeral Home.
