Connie Dee Strickland Colvin, 54, of 203 Pinewood Drive, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held by the graveside on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Tim Strickland officiating.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of Mary Lou Strickland of Dudley and the late Clifford Avery Strickland.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Colvin is survived by her husband, Clyde J. Colvin; one son and daughter-in-law, Nelson and Amy Colvin of Goldsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Glenn Edmonds of Goldsboro; two brothers, her twin Donnie Strickland, and his wife, Faye, of Dudley and Tommy Strickland, and his wife, Maxine, of Kenly; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joanne and Kenneth Stancil of Dudley and Patsy and Doug Wellington of Dudley; four grandchildren, Drew Colvin, Nathan Colvin, Taylor Edmonds and Trevor Edmonds.
Family members will greet friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and at other times will be at the residence.
