Melanie Dawn Lee Pierce, 35, of Eureka, died Saturday.
The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Joyner's Funeral Home in Wilson. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park in Wilson. The officiating minister will be the Rev. Jerome Mozingo.
Mrs. Pierce is survived by her husband, Johnny Pierce; two daughters, Brittany Cook and Taylor Pierce, both of Eureka; one son, Chad Pierce, of Eureka; one stepdaughter, Ashley Robbins of Burgaw; her parents, Danny Ray and Reba Ann Braswell Lee of Wilson; one sister, Debra Lee, of Wilson; one brother, Marty Lee, of Pikeville; her paternal grandmother, Katie Lee, of Wilson; and a number of aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Daniel and Bessie Braswell, and her paternal grandfather, Robert Lee.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Joyner's Funeral Home, and at other times at 5028 Community Grocery Road, Wilson.
