EUREKA--Kitzi Aycock Davis, 54, of 107 N. Church St., died Saturday morning at the home of her sister, Sue A. Thomas in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Davis was born in Wayne County to the late William Gordon Aycock Sr. and Marjorie Lancaster Aycock. She had worked as the SIMS operator for Wilson County Public Schools at Beddingfield High School. Mrs. Davis was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Danny G. Allen officiating. Burial will follow at the Charles B. Aycock Birthplace Cemetery.
In addition to her sister, she is survived by sons, John T. Garrett of Denver, Colo., and Evan Davis of Eureka; grandchildren, Phoenix and Gryffon Garrett.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William Gordon Aycock Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 10, Pikeville, N.C. 27863.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
