GLADYS WESTBROOK

Aug. 5, 1915-June 8, 2006

Gladys Carlisle Westbrook, 90, died Thursday at the Brian Center in Goldsboro.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Grady and the Rev. Wesley Jarman will officiate. Interment will be on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Westbrook was born in Greene County to the late Walter and Minnie Taylor Carlisle and was married to the late Edgar Westbrook. She was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Rex Sullivan, and his wife, Doris, of Araphoe; and Stanley Claude Sullivan and his wife, Linda, of Kinston; one stepdaughter, Debbie Barnes of Pikeville; one sister, Dora Hare of Goldsboro; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home following the funeral, and other times at the residence of Stanley and Linda Sullivan, 2478 Hull Road, Kinston.
