Died June 2, 2006
The funeral for Glenn J. Bass, 44, will be held today at 4 p.m. at Mt. Nelson Baptist Church in Eureka. Interment will be in Eureka Cemetery.
Mr. Bass died Friday at Rex Hospital. A Wayne County native, he lived in Raleigh where he was employed as the assistant manager at Smith & Hawken.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Bass, and is survived by his mother and stepfather, Shirley Matthews Causway and Lee Causway of Wilson; and one sister, Sherrie Bass Mooring of Eureka, and her family.
The family received friends on Sunday evening at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
