FRANCES HINTON

SMITHFIELD -- Frances Bell Hinton, 91, of 503 Pine St., died Wednesday at her home.
A Johnston County native, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Lenora Holt Bell and was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Hinton of the home; one son, Edward W. Hinton of Raleigh; four daughters, Francis Hinton of Bowie, Md., Janice Judkins of Selma, Berneitha Morrison of Smithfield and Diane Schatzman of Waldorf, Md.; one brother, Ervin G. Bell of Hollis, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Smithfield, with a wake one hour prior to the service.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 6 today at Walter Sanders Funeral Home.
