LAGRANGE -- The funeral for Johnnie Parks Waters, 77, will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Taylor's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Elder Robert Hood will officiate. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
His survivors include four sons, William Joyner of Kinston, John W. Waters III and Michael Waters of LaGrange and Richard B. Waters of Wilmington; one daughter, Deborah Carmon of Heightville; one sister, Dora Mae Bowden of Goldsboro; one brother, Alexander Waters of LaGrange; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 2 until 8 today at Albritton-Carraway Funeral Home in Kinston.
