Claire Connor Sauls, 19, of 715 Lake Shore Drive, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006.
Claire was the daughter of Benjamin K. Sauls, Sr. and Katherine Stackhouse Sauls. She was a graduate of Wayne Country Day School and was a sophomore at East Carolina University.
A memorial service will be held today at 2 p.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Eugene Carpenter presiding. The family will remain afterward to receive friends.
Private interment will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Heather Sauls Honeycutt, and her husband, Johnny Mack Honeycutt, of Erwin; her brother, John Joseph Sauls of Charleston, S.C.; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Stackhouse of Goldsboro; and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ben Sauls of Goldsboro.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice or to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 200 N. James Street, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
