SHELIA DIXON

SELMA -- Shelia Diane Dixon, 44, sister of Janice Body of Goldsboro, died Monday.
Mrs. Dixon was born in the Bronx in New York and was the daughter of Doris Ann Rich and the late William Powell.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Smithfield. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
In addition to her mother and sister, Mrs. Dixon is survived by her husband, Ernest Dixon of Selma; two daughters, LaTonya and Clara Dixon of Selma; two sons, Justin and LaVandon Dixon of Selma; three brothers, William Powell of Knightdale, and Jeffery and Gregory Williams of Smithfield; two other sisters, Tiffany Powell and Linda Allen of Smithfield; and her grandmother, Katie Rich of Smithfield.
The family will receive friends today from 2 until 8 p.m. at R.L. Sanders Funeral Home in Smithfield.
