NEWTON GROVE -- Robert Earl "Bobby" Warren, 68, of 2117 Newton Grove Hwy., died Monday.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Father Ned Schlesinger will conduct the service.
Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Gayle Herring Warren; one daughter, Melody Warren Gerald of Raleigh; one son, Robbie Warren of Newton Grove; five sisters, Willa Booth, Dorothy Holbrook, Ida Rae Eldridge and Shirley Tart of Newton Grove and LaRue Smith of Dunn; three brothers, Alvin Warren and Bruce F. Warren of Newton Grove and Larry Warren of Garner; and three grandchildren, Jason Lane Warren, Hanna Marie Warren and Mary Olivia Gerald.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Mangrum and Arie Lewis Warren; a sister, Hilda Warren; two brothers, Ira Graham Warren and Harper S. Warren; and a grandchild, John Michael Gerald.
The family will receive friends today from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at West & Dunn Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 100, Newton Grove, N.C., 28366.
