CLIFTON THOMPSON
Funeral services for Clifton Earl Thompson Sr., of 310 Bright Street, will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Pentecostal Holy Church. Elder Willie E. Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife Emma J. Thompson; sons, Clifton Earl Thompson Jr. of Goldsboro and Earl Hall of Virginia; daughters, Annie Bell Brith, Edna Earle Green, and Fran McDuffie, all of Goldsboro; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The viewing was held Saturday at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends in the home.
