Donnie Dontarate Griffin, 41, of 804 Franklin Street, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral was held today at 11 a.m. at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church with Rev. H.E. McNair officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Griffin is survived by his mother of the home Mrs. Blonnie Broadhurst and step-father Mr. James Broadhurst: daughters, Aricka Parker and Toya Parker both of Goldsboro; son Ricard'oe Vines of Norfolk, Va.; sisters, Annette Lassiter and Robin Johnson both of Goldsboro, Allah Wanda of Norfolk, Va. and Paris Oates of Bronx, N.Y.; and brother Charles Oates of Goldsboro.
The viewing was held Tuesday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
