David Earl Bradshaw, 71, of 123 Daleview Drive, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Mr. Bradshaw was born in Wayne County to the late I.B. (Kissie) Bradshaw and Sarah Lee Pope Bradshaw. He was the owner and operator of B & B Auto Service, which is now known as Bradshaw's Auto and Truck Repair. Mr. Bradshaw was a member of Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. He served in the North Carolina National Guard for 34 years. An avid golfer, Mr. Bradshaw was a member of Goldsboro Golf Club.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Bailey and Rev. Barry Williamson officiating. Interment will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his devoted wife, Novella Walston Bradshaw; his children, Gail Bradshaw Krishnaprasad and husband, Krishna of Goldsboro; Sarah Bradshaw Dail and husband, Ronnie, of Trenton; and Tommy Bradshaw and wife, Deahdra of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Jessica Dail, Anjie Prasad, Shannon Prasad, Christie Bradshaw, and Brittney Bradshaw; his sisters, Betty Lee Afdahl, of Montana and Patricia Gross and husband, Gary of Goldsboro; and a special niece, Shelly Kay Gross.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Dail.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church, 752 Stoney Creek Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534 or to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834.

The family will receive friends following the service Thursday at Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church and other times at the home of his daughter, Gail Krishnaprasad, 311 Glen Oak Drive.

Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
