TRACY MATTHIS

KENANSVILLE--Tracy Patrick Matthis, 43, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday.
He was born to Mildred Britt Matthis and the late John Thomas Matthis in Duplin County. He was preceded in death by sister Sharon Matthis Pickett and brother C.T. Matthis.
He is survived by wife Kimberly "Kim" Taylor Matthis of the home; daughter Taylor Nicole Matthis of the home; mother Mildred Britt Matthis of Kenansville; brother John Wayne Matthis and wife Ellen of Faison.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Warsaw Baptist Church, 209 East College Street in Warsaw. Burial will follow in Matthis Family Cemetery, Highway 24 East in Clinton. The family will receive friends following the graveside services at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Taylor Matthis Education fund, c/o Warsaw Baptist Church, 209 East College Street, Warsaw.
