SMITHFIELD -- Luther Edward Worley, 67, died Tuesday at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service was held today at 11 a.m. at the Dean's Family Cemetery near Princeton.
Mr. Worley was a Johnston County native and was the son of the Levie Jackson and Emma Deans Worley.
He is survived by one son, Dean Worley of Princeton; one daughter, Lynn Matthews of Four Oaks; two brothers, Glenn Worley of Lucama and Bernice Worley of Wilson; one sister, Ethel Langston of Wilson; and two granddaughters.
Parrish Funeral Home is serving the family.
