Robert Ward Flowers, 64, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., died Tuesday.
He was the son of the late Robert and Ada Flowers of Mount Olive and was a United States Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Morene Flowers; daughters, Melanie Blood of Statesville, Susan Triplett of Granite Falls, Janet Fuller of Kansas City, Mo., and Terry Burnap of Williamsburg, Va.; one son, Rick Anderson of Mebane; two sisters, Brunetta Bradshaw of Faison and Patty Davis of LaGrange; one brother, Jimmy Flowers of Faison; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A private viewing for the family will be held on Friday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Lowes Funeral Home in Burlington. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 at Alamance Memorial Park and will be conducted by the Rev. Billy Morene.
