MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Elderess Mary Helen Budd, 61, of 318 E. Maple St., will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Winn Chapel Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Howell will officiate.
Mrs. Budd died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Mattie Owens Bowden.
Survivors include her husband, Rudolph Budd of the home; two brothers, Ralph Owens of Fairfield, Calif., and Theodore Owens of Mount Olive; and two sisters, Odessa Powell of Mount Olive and Ernestine Wilkinson of Dudley.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 6 today at Garris Funeral Home and an inspirational wake will be held tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Winn Chapel Baptist Church.
