The funeral for Artense Carmichael will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Woods Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Ricky Dawson will officiate. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
Ms. Carmichael died Saturday.
She is survived by two sons; Fletcher Carmichael and Mario Carmichael of the home; her mother, Bessie Carmichael of Goldsboro; seven brothers, Hercules Yelverton of Goldsboro, Jockie Yelverton of Camden, NJ, Leonza Carmichael of Dudley, Robert Carmichael, David Carmichael and Sam Carmichael of Virginia and Wilbert Carmichael of Georgia; two sisters, Marie Carmichael and Annie Carmichael of Goldsboro, and three grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 6 p.m. on Wednesday at McIntyre Funeral Home.
