GERRY SUMMERLIN

Evelyn Geraldine "Gerry" Myrick Summerlin died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held by the graveside on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with Anthony Vahala officiating.
Mrs. Summerlin was born in Danville, Va., to the late Maryland Dan and Evelyn Joyner Myrick. She retired as a bookkeeper with A&P Grocery stores.
She is survived by one son, Calvin Wadsworth of Wilmington; daughters, Dianne Jones of Lucama and Donna Summerlin of Atlantic Beach; one sister, Joyce Taylor of Goldsboro; and two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon from 1 until 2 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
