CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Allen M. Hicks Jr., 58, of Chandler, Ariz., formerly of Pikeville, died at his home Thursday.
Mr. Hicks was born in Charlotte to the late A. Milton Hicks Sr. and Mabel Lee Hicks. Mr. Hicks was the owner of the Pikeville Drug Store, as well as a pilot for the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Juliann Manning Hicks; sisters, Diane Hicks Blake of Hollywood, Md., and Lisa Hicks Hooks of Pikeville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Wednesday in Phoenix, Ariz.
