KENLY -- Betty Barbee Harell, 63, 9408 Triston Court, died Tuesday at her home.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Danny Creech and the Rev. Braxton Creech will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Scherette of Kenly; one son, James "Jim" Walter Harrell of Wallace; her mother, Audrey P. Barbee Perry of Kenly; four sisters, Jean Langston and Fran Finch Mercer of Kenly; Kathy Nichols of Benson and Virginia Barnes of Black Creek; two brothers, James Barbee Jr. of Kenly and Jeffrey Barbee of Lucama; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home.
