MILAS DORSEY KELLY

Mr. Milas Dorsey Kelly Sr., 84, of 607 Longleaf Avenue died Saturday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Kelly was born August 7, 1921 in Media, Pa. to the late Milas and Gertrude Kelly.

Mr. Kelly was an educator in Montgomery County and retired as an Employee/Employer Relations Specialist at O'Berry Center.

Mr. Kelly was active in the Goldsboro/Wayne County A&T Alumni Association, the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., the Media Old Timers Association, and the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc.

The funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. James A.M.E. Zion Church, 206 S. George Street. Rev. Dwight Cannon will be officiating. Burial will follow in Blackmore Family Cemetery on Seymore-Blackmore Road in Warsaw.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Blackmore Kelly of the home; sons Milas of Goldsboro, Tim of Upper Marlboro, Md., Todd of District Heights, Md. and Darryl of Silver Springs, Md.; and seven grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel. The family will be present at 7 p.m.
