FRANCES O. JACKSON

LAGRANGE --Frances Outlaw Jackson, 87, of 280 Crocus Lane, died Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Brian Center, Goldsboro.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Wayne County to the late Jule and Lilla Quinn Outlaw. Her husband of 68 years, Major Jackson, preceded her in death on March 16, 2004. Mrs. Jackson was a longtime member of Seven Springs United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 1, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Seven Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Hobbs and Rev. H.L. Harrell officiating. Burial will follow in Seven Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Jackson is survived by five children, Woodard Jackson and wife Judy of Dudley, Don Jackson and wife Lynne of Dudley, Gerald Jackson and fiancee' Mary Grace Tingen of Macclesfield, Bertha Mallard and friend David Russell of Kinston, Virginia Hardy and husband Frazier of Mount Olive; brother, Rudolph Outlaw of Hubert; special cousin, Georgia Mae Jackson of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Dawson; and a brother, J.B. Outlaw.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Seven Springs U.M.C. Building Fund or Seven Springs U.M.C. Cemetery Fund, 2330 Indian Springs Road, Dudley, N.C., 28333.
