LAGRANGE -- The funeral for Rosa L. Dunk, 62, of Thomasville, was held today at 11 at Herring Grove Free Will Baptist Church, with Elder Samuel Hardy Jr. officiating. Burial was in LaGrange Cemetery.
Mrs. Dunk was a former resident of Kinston. She died Saturday at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.
She is survived by sons, Eddie Waters of LaGrange, Lincoln Waters of Kinston and Dennis Waters of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters Temeka Waters of Warner Robbins, Ga., Morene Waters of Thomasville and Rhonda Jones of Goldsboro; brothers, Kenneth Joyner and Melvin Joyner of LaGrange, and Raymond Joyner; sisters, Louise Moore, Ella Mae Dawson and Beverly Hart of LaGrange, Carolyn McClain of Kinston, and Joyce Randolph of Goldsboro; and 24 grandchildren.
Swinson Funeral Home is serving the family.
