Robert Winbern Jordan, 77, 845 Buck Swamp Road died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton.
Mr. Jordan was born in Greenville, N.C., to the late Josephuse and Nancy Cartwright Jordan. He was a veteran of the United States Army and Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Taylor Jordan; one son, Robert Jordan Jr.; one stepson, David Hope of Pikeville; two sisters, Sallie Williams of Goldsboro and Myrtle Ruth of Florida; two step-grandchildren, Jason and Brandon Hope of Goldsboro; and a special nephew, Troy Jordan of Pikeville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his last brother, Joe Jordan.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, and other times at the residence.
