JARED T. TRACY

DUDLEY -- Jared Tyler Tracy, age 19, of 244 Club Knolls Road, died early Saturday morning from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Steven M. and Martha O'Berry Tracy. A 2005 graduate of Southern Wayne High School, he was employed with Georgia-Pacific Corporation. He knew no strangers and was a member of Dudley Christian Church where he served as a Junior Deacon and was a former member of the Church Youth Group. An avid outdoorsman, Jared enjoyed camping and fishing with his Dad and hunting with his cousins and uncle.
Funeral services will be held Monday (today) at 3 p.m. at Dudley Christian Church with Mr. Douglas M. Dexter and Mr. Blane Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
In addition to his parents, Jared is survived by his sister, Kristin E. Tracy of the home; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth M. O'Berry of Dudley; paternal grandmother, Gennette T. Darling of Oconomowoc, Wis..; six aunts, Karen Tracy of Colorado, Dawn Deuel of Garner, N.C., Dian and Jim Lehman of Peru, Ind., Diana O. and Joedy Steed of Candor, N.C., Anne O'Berry of Melbourne, Fla., Brenda O. and Doug Dexter of Dudley, N.C.; and numerous cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles and several "Best Buds".
Family members will be receiving friends at the home, 244 Club Knolls Road, Dudley, and at the home of his grandmother, Elizabeth M. O'Berry, 266 Club Knolls Road, Dudley.

Tracy may be directed to the Dudley Christian Church Building Fund, 212 O'Berry Road, Dudley, N.C., 28333; or to the Eckerd Youth Alternatives Inc., Fund Development Department, 100 North Starcrest Drive, Clearwater, Fla., 33765.
