HOLLY RIDGE -- James Robert Hargis, 56, died on Monday, March 6, at his home.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 24, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home.
Mr. Hargis served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and the memorial service will include military honors.
He is survived by three sons, Joey, Andy and Casey of Michigan; his mother, Mary Jane Sanders of Princeton; and a brother, Lynwood E. Hargis of Princeton.
His father, James Edward Hargis, preceded him in death.
