Victor Samir Matute Cerritos, age 19, of 1412 Old Smith Chapel Road, Mount Olive, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, from injuries he received in an automobile accident.
Born in La Ceiba, Atlantida, Honduras, he was the son of the late Victor Manuel Matute and Loana Janethe Cerrito-Raudales. He was a member of Rio Poderoso Church in Teachey.
Funeral services were held in Honduras on Friday, March 10, and burial was the next day.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Gerson Ocamp Cerritos and Roberto Carlos Cerritos, both of Honduras.
The family wishes to thank everyone who assisted in sending Victor home.
