KATHLEEN "KAY" GREGORY WILLIAMS
Died Saturday. Rosary service today.
NEWTON GROVE -- Mrs. Kathleen "Kay" Gregory Williams, 74, of 316 N. Church St., Newton Grove, died Saturday, March 18.
A rosary service will be held today at 6:30 p.m. and a funeral Monday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton Grove. Father Ned Schlesinger will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Kay was born March 28, 1931, to the late Peter and Maude Gregory. She was also pre-deceased by her brothers Harold, Oliver, Richard, Jack and Pat and sisters Genevieve and Annie, and son-in-law Walter Flournoy Jr.
She was retired from Burlington Industries of Mount Olive.
Her survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ernie J. Williams Jr., daughter Kay Flournoy of Newton Grove, son Ernie Williams III and his wife, Kelly, of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew and Emily Williams; twin sister Helen Williams of Newton Grove, sisters Mary Adams and Maude Denning of Newton Grove, Joan Thornton of Four Oaks, and brothers Lawrence Gregory and Hubert Gregory of Newton Grove.
Kay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and her memory will be cherished by all those whose lives she touched.
The family will receive friends after the rosary service today, from 7-9 p.m. at West & Dunn Funeral Home in Newton Grove.
